The FBI, Private Investigators and detectives in law enforcement have been using this deductive system for years to solve crimes of all types. The recent popularity of the many CSI television shows has brought the work of the Profiler into the public’s awareness. It is now accepted as the solution when trying to determine the identity and future actions of a perpetrator or criminal. Profiling can also be used by a missing dog expert to determine the most likely actions a missing dog may take in a given situation.
